Supermodel Gigi Hadid was spotted in public for the first time since her arrest last week for carrying marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Hadid, 28, was photographed arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport to catch a flight out of New York City. She was wearing a beige crop top and distressed denim jeans, as well as a blue-and-white plaid bag, matching nude jacket, colorful necklace, and red Converse high-top sneakers.
Hadid’s arrest occurred on July 10, after Customs & Border Control agents found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her luggage upon her arrival at the Cayman Islands. She and another woman, Leah Nicole McCarthy, were arrested and fined $1,000 each.
Hadid’s rep said that she was traveling with marijuana that she had purchased legally in New York City with a medical license. The rep added that marijuana has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017.
Hadid’s arrest made headlines around the world, but she appeared to be unfazed by the incident. After her release, she posted a series of photos from her vacation on Instagram, captioning one of them, “All’s well that ends well.”
It is unclear why Hadid was spotted in public for the first time since her arrest. However, it is possible that she was simply going about her normal routine. After all, she is a busy supermodel who is constantly traveling and working.
Whatever the reason for her outing, it is clear that Hadid is moving on from her arrest and getting back to her life.
