Glenn Kirschner, a former U.S. Army prosecutor and MSNBC legal analyst, has expressed concern about the threat Donald Trump poses to witnesses and jurors. Kirschner believes that judges have not yet addressed the ongoing danger of Trump to witnesses, jurors, prosecutors, judges, and their families. He hopes that the judges will recognize Trump’s danger to the community and detain him pending trial. Kirschner’s remarks follow several instances where Trump has hurled social media attacks at prosecutors, including special counsel Jack Smith, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Georgia officials are also investigating threats made to grand jurors who indicted Trump and 18 others last month. Kirschner has faced similar concerns in past cases, describing dealing with a criminal organization tied to 30 killings with an anonymous jury and other security measures.
However, some jurors were dismissed mid-trial, and Kirschner has tried cases with the most rigorous security measures in D.C. Kirschner believes Trump’s reach is too broad and his followers are detached from reality.
